I called ahead to schedule my appointment 4 hours in advance. I asked about the wait time and was told 1 hour wait time for the Works Service.
Horrible service. Went in to buy 4 new tires, was told it would be an hour wait. I felt like when I asked how much longer the wait would be, I was just being brushed off and lied to. Staff had vulgar language towards each other (and did in past experiences as well). Three hours later, it was closing time and they were conveniently done. Now my Explorer rides very rough and they won’t do anything to fix it. Also, they did not fix a recall item but just ignored it instead.
I again asked for the wait time when I showed up and requested service. At that time I asked for the Spare Tire to be mounted on the Driver Side Front Rim, and rotated to the back, so that I would have two newer tires on the back after the tire rotation. I was told this would add a little time and would be done in a little over an hour. I went to look at new vehicles while I waited. An hour later I walked by the service lot and the Service person told me it would be done shortly. I replied back to him, how can that be when it is still sitting in the lot right there and I pointed to it. He then replied he would check to see why it had not been started. 15 minutes later they pulled in in to start. I watched the technician start the work. He pulled the spare tire and the drivers side rear tire off and took them over the the tire changer. This was not what I wanted, so I walked into the garage doorway and explained to him what was supposed to be done so that it would get done right. After making sure they were doing the work correctly I then waited an hour for them to finish. I ended up being there 2.5 hours for the Works Service with a little extra work. This seems a little extreme.
Took 2012 F150 no heat on passenger side. The right side temperature blend motor, obvious problem (anyone with Google can find that out and learn how to fix in 30 minutes with UTube video). THEY charge $90 to diagnosis. REALLY? The invoice said "customer request diagnosis"... when I told them the part number. The replacing the motor was $340 (remember 30 minutes). Made an service appointment, arrived early. I took them 2 hours to do "diagnosis" that was obvious, when no heat on passenger side. Then they took another 3 hours to fix!! I learned my lesson, as local shops treat you better!!!
I had an issue with my Ford Mustang that another dealership had no idea what was wrong. Gray-Daniels ford figured it out and fixed it in one day. Since then, I have bought a new car at the dealership and it was a fantastic experience. I get calls regularly asking how I am enjoying the new car, and reminders when I need to be servicing the car. Today I had an issue with my new car. I am leaving for a trip this weekend and was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get my car fixed on time. Even with a large amount of cars being serviced at the dealership, I was still able to get an appointment to get my car fixed. On top of all that, they found the issue, and fixed it all in the same day. They always have fantastic customer service and I will continue to use their service department, along with purchasing future vehicles at this dealership.
Bought a truck online, flew down there, they picked me up at the airport and the transaction was seamless. Super friendly staff! Thanks Gloria!
