Average room. Has fridge, microwave, and coffee in room. Rooms are clean and spacious with a large restroom. Easy to find off the highway, and plenty of places to eat nearby with things to do.
The hotel is raggedy. The flooring is coming up in the elevator area, the linens in the rooms were dirty, the headboards are beat up, the carpet is old and dirty, the chairs are filthy in the rooms, the sink was dirty, the tub was rusted (we did not bathe here), they had to change our rooms 3 times because of the dirtiness, there were hairs on the linens in the 3rd room and dried up semen on the top of the comforter from the previous customers (which I showed the front desk clerk), the front desk lady brought in clean linens & another comforter and asked me to assist in changing the bedding, the managers never returned my calls to speak with me and will be getting away with almost $70 of our money because they will only refund about $25 of our money for our inconvenience. The king suite is not even worth $50 per night for the nastiness/condition of this hotel. The photos are not up to date photos on how terrible this hotel condition is from the lobby to the rooms. The front desk clerk mentioned that they had to hire new house keepers and the worker that shared the elevator with us stated that she didn't know what happened to the floors in the elevator when i asked if they were renovating although she mentioned it had to happened within the past week. Would not recommend anyone to stay here and afraid to ever use Laquinta's anywhere because of this experience. I'm rating them a 1
Moved to same motel but Jackson Airport in Pearl. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY IN BRANDON. Go 6 miles to Pearl.
No complaints. Employees at front desk are nice and welcome you every time you come in.
Recommend especially for dogs. Great space for taking them out and great staff. Breakfast was nice and ample. The place to stay around here and worth the rate.

Upon arrival, I was double booked. The lady was very rude about this. Also was moved too a second room. The rooms are very dirty, not good up keep. Headboards falling apart, Management is very rude. Chair was broken, Looked like a flood in our room had happened from the water stains on the desk& Bed. ALL DOOR JAMS ON 2nd floor had been picked at the lock. You could very well see that if you push hard enough on the doors they would just come open.
