Absolutely horrible. The doctors notified me they were kicking my grandmother out because she had become violent. So I removed her to the emergency room. She had a very bad urinary Tracy infection that had been going on undiagnosed for several weeks. The doctors at this home could care less about their patients. They put on a great face when your admitted. Then, you discover the hell it really is. The accredations are a sham.
I've been on both sides of the fence. I was employed & resigned in the late 90's. In 2013, I was led to believe that "things had changed for the better" since new management had taken over. UNFORTUNATELY, this was NOT the case. I placed my dear Grandmother there. She was in a private room where I placed a Granny-Cam. On this video, I have horrific footage of my Grandmother being abused AND neglected (ie: being brought into her room 'naked' in the hoyer sling (after I'm assuming coming back from the shower room), being forceably fed, her "BROKEN" leg "dangling" off of the bed while the aide "SLUNG" it back on to the bed. On one specific day, NO-ONE entered her room for a solid SIX hours!! I went to the nursing home EVERY single day. I never went at the same time. Sometimes I would go in the wee hours of the morning.... STILL NO CHANGE. I reported this hell hole to the State more than once and NOTHING was done. As usual, *just like they did when I was employed there"; they 'hid" their mess and played guardian angels while they were being investigated. Then, bam! right back to the same ole thing. I was called in by the Administrator and told that if I did not remove the granny cam and surrender the video, I would be forced to relocate my Grandmother. Guess what? I removed the granny cam AND I removed my Grandmother; and I made two copies of the video. Trust me. It's NOT over! PLEASE, Do NOT leave your loved ones here.
This place is horrific. Understaffed and outright negligent if your loved one needs skilled care.
I worked here this year. And my experience was not so great the manager would flirt with the woman in the kitchen.
To be honest with you this place is horrible. With the impression that my mother was to be in the best of care with only the best experienced certified workers. I was unfortunately proved unwise with the numerous inconvenient trips to the hospital which have proved to be costly and stressfull. In no way shape form or fashion should this highly unorganized group of staff with their communications in disarray be able to keep this false rating. I have went there different times and different days seen patients horribly treated sometimes unnecessary with no consideration of how they should be handled and treated with the care they deserve if you don't have loves one in there I highly recommend other treatment, but if you do happen to have one there collect medical records and search all dianosis and correct medical terms. Due to the fact that their annual salary per staff member is to high they protect each other to prevent lawsuits. see to my mom it's not over they make have are been pay undercover to get away with the terror that they do the manager assistant superintendent support president and major social workers all allow negative attitudes
