Pool and grounds are neat and kept up, there is monthly rentals as well as nightly rentals. This is a first come first served campground, you may get there and there be no vacancy, the rate is really reasonable, the people you deal with at the check in desk are usually rude and not very easy to deal with, I dealt with two different ladies and both should find other employment that doesn't deal with customer service. I gave it 4 stars for the upkeep and total overall beauty of the place, once you get past the check in and out, you are going to like it there. It is on the Ross Barnett Reservoir and a lot of sites can see the water, it is also close to shopping and restaurants. If you come after 6 pm, usually you find a empty nightly rental and settle up in the morning, there are like 10 reservation spots, but they are almost impossible to get, if you see a orange cone in a spot, that means reserved. On the Barnett Reservoir nestled in tall pines. Convenient to shopping for the ladies and fishing for the men. Swimming, tennis, and basketball for the kids. Play ground for the toddlers. Numerous restaurant chains close by. Laundry facilities. Tent camping area too. Most importantly, it's quiet!

Love this place. Very clean and beautiful scenery. We will stay here every time we're in Jacksonville.
Very friendly staff. The campground felt very secure and relaxing. Laundry facilities were decent enough. Playground was nice and well maintained as was the pool. The tent sites were quite level and include a paved area with picnic table and grill as well as electric outlets, the wifi doesn't really work though. Overall an excellent stay.
