I am always greeted and helped every time I walk in, which is usually once a week! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and is always readily available if I have questions .
I have been in Create a Cake many times. They are always nice and polite. They always ask if I'm looking for something in particular and help me in locating the items. They have an abundance of supplies and knowledge. They always answer my questions and explain to me the best way to do something. Thumbs up. They may be a little more expensive than chain stores, but their selection is 100 time better by far! In fact, they are the only ones locally that carry the high-ration shortening that makes icing so delicious!! If I could rate higher I'd give them 10 stars!

The Owner of this store is the most rude person I have ever experienced. My mother was shopping in the store and the owner yelled at her and told her to leave. My mother had no idea what was going on! The owner said, "you have perfume on". My mother said yes is there a problem? The owner yelled and told my mother to get out of her store , she was allergic. It was extremely embarrassing for my mother. She had no idea why this woman would yell at her and tell her to leave her store, she absolutely had no idea what was going on. If the owner is indeed allergic to perfume and doesn't want customers in the store wearing perfume shouldn't she post a sign on the front door? At least the owner could have nicely and calmly said to my mother that she was allergic and could my mother return another day when she wasn't wearing perfume. My mother would have understood and left the store and been glad to return on another day but unfortunately this woman acted crazy! To yell at a customer to "get out" and the customer have no idea why, that is not any way to run a business! I will tell everyone I know not to frequent this business. Perhaps if this owner is so allergic to perfume she should find another line of work that doesn't involve working with the public.
